Being: I am offering coaching to those who would like to explore the art of living

I am fully engaged in the art of living and curious about being in the world. Curious about my own life, and curious about others. Curious about meaning, about relationships, and curious about spirituality. Living in 'good faith' (Sartre: Being and Nothingness) means to constantly explore 'Being'. Over the years I have developed a deep capacity for this art of exploration based on my life expereince, theoretical study and professional training.

My background training in psychoanalysis and family therapy, my work as an executive coach with the powerful and successful, contrasted with my early adult life as a general and pscyhiatric nurse (a life-forming experience), and a single parent on welfare, have all had a powerful impact on me. As has the juxtaposition of failing at school and missing out on an early education, and then becoming an author and academic. One of the impacts is my taste for the paradoxical, for juxtapostion, and for observing the world from a perspective of 'looking awry' (Zizek). It enables me to work with difference and to reframe situations that seem very stuck. I am able to offer powerful insights and interpretations for my clients to contemplate and ruminate until they arrive at a point of sense-making for themselves.
